Welcome to Poseidon Aquatics & Plants, a small family-run aquarium business operating right out of our home. Founded and run by Zach, who is not only extremely knowledgeable about freshwater fish but also passionate about providing the best care and advice to every customer.

Unlike larger stores, all our fish live in what we consider our “personal” tanks until they find their forever homes. We don’t see them as just inventory — we treat every fish as if they were our own pets. This hands-on care means you can trust the health and quality of every fish we sell.

We take pride in our willingness to work closely with you. Whether you’re a seasoned hobbyist or new to fishkeeping, Zach is always happy to answer your questions and offer guidance tailored to your needs.

To make things convenient, we offer free delivery from Smiths Falls to Ottawa and nearby areas. If you’re a little further out, we’re happy to deliver for a reasonable fee. Shipping is available upon request, and when we’re heading out of town, we let our customers know so you can take advantage of free delivery if you’re on our route.

We also accept pre-orders if you’re looking for something specific we don’t currently have in stock. Never hesitate to reach out — we aim to be as available and approachable as possible, making your experience smooth and enjoyable.
