Bacopa Caroliniana

Bacopa caroliniana is a classic, dependable stem plant known for its thicker stems and larger, oval-shaped leaves compared to Bacopa monnieri. Its coloration ranges from bright green to bronze, and under stronger lighting it can develop warm reddish tones at the tips. When grown emersed, it may produce small blue flowers and gives off a subtle lemon-like scent when the leaves are gently crushed.

This is an easy-to-keep, beginner-friendly plant that adapts well to a wide range of aquarium conditions. It grows upright and steadily, making it ideal for filling in the midground or background of planted tanks. Regular trimming encourages side shoots and a fuller, bushier appearance. Simply replant the cut tops to expand your group.

It holds up well in moderate flow and is generally not bothered by smaller fish.
