Bottle Pods

Bottle Pods have a distinctive elongated, hollow shape that resembles a small natural vessel, making them both visually interesting and highly functional in the aquarium. Their structure creates natural hiding spots and shaded areas, which are especially appreciated by shrimp, fry, and shy fish.

Like other botanicals, Bottle Pods release tannins as they soak and begin to break down, contributing to a gentle tint in the water and helping to create a more natural, blackwater-style environment. Their interior and outer surfaces also encourage biofilm growth, providing a valuable grazing surface for shrimp and microfauna.

They can be used individually as small focal points or grouped together to create a more complex, natural layout. Over time, they gradually soften and decompose, blending into the tank while continuing to support a healthy ecosystem.
