Full-size caves are great — but they're the wrong scale for the smallest and most vulnerable tank residents. These leaf-shaped ceramic pieces fill that gap, creating the kind of snug, micro-scale cover that newly hatched plecos, shrimplets, and fish fry need the moment they become vulnerable. We actually use these on our own farm as a first hideout for pleco hatchlings, so we can vouch for them from personal experience.

The realistic leaf shape settles naturally into a planted aquascape without looking out of place — and their versatility makes them useful in more ways than one. Lay them flat on the substrate and they form shaded, ground-level pockets. Lean or stack them and small fish can shelter beneath and between the layers. A simple concept, but genuinely effective.

How to Use

Rinse thoroughly before placing in the tank. Lay flat for ground-level cover, or lean and overlap multiple leaves to build layered hiding spots with multiple entry points. Works particularly well in nano tanks, breeding setups, and shrimp colonies.
