Named after renowned rainbowfish expert Gary Lange, this rare and striking species of rainbowfish features iridescent blue-green flanks, a vivid orange stripe along the back, and bright red fins that develop more intensity with age. Native to the Papuan region of Indonesia, this species is prized for its coloration, activity, and peaceful nature.

Best kept in schools of 6 or more, these fish are social and thrive in planted aquariums with plenty of swimming space. Males display the boldest colors, especially during courtship, while females are more subdued but still elegant.
