Keyhole Cichlid

Behavior & Compatibility:

Keyhole Cichlids are peaceful, bottom-to-mid-level dwellers that prefer to be kept in pairs or small groups. They coexist well with:

• Tetras, rasboras, and small peaceful barbs

• Corydoras and other non-aggressive bottom dwellers

• Dwarf cichlids and other calm species

Avoid aggressive cichlids or much larger fish that could stress them.

Tank Setup:

A planted aquarium with driftwood, rocks, caves, and soft substrate provides security and hiding spots. Moderate water flow, stable parameters, and shaded areas encourage natural behavior, reduce stress, and allow them to display their subtle but elegant colors.
