Description & Care Info ▼
The Leopard Ctenopoma, also known as the Spotted Climbing Perch, is a unique and stunning freshwater fish native to the rivers and streams of West Africa. This species is known for its beautiful leopard-like pattern, with dark spots and markings on a golden to brownish body, giving it a striking appearance. The Leopard Ctenopoma is a peaceful, slow-moving fish that enjoys hiding among plants, rocks, and driftwood in its tank, mimicking its natural environment. It is an excellent choice for aquariums with other peaceful species but may not do well with faster or overly active fish. Due to its need for a well-maintained tank with plenty of hiding spots, this species is best suited for intermediate to experienced aquarists.
