Ludwigia Super Red

Ludwigia Super Red is a striking stem plant prized in planted aquariums for its intense crimson coloration and relatively easy care compared to many other red aquatic plants. A cultivated variety of Ludwigia palustris, this plant develops deep red to burgundy leaves under good lighting, creating a dramatic contrast against green plants and making it a favorite for aquascaping backgrounds and midgrounds.

This species grows upright with closely spaced leaves along thin stems, forming dense, colorful bushes when trimmed regularly. It responds very well to pruning, quickly producing side shoots that make the plant fuller and more vibrant over time.
