The Macrognathus Maculatus, also known as the Spotted Mastacembelus or Spotted Eel, is an intriguing and unique freshwater fish that hails from the rivers of South Asia. This species is known for its eel-like body, which is elongated and covered in a pattern of dark spots against a lighter background, making it an eye-catching addition to any aquarium. The Macrognathus Maculatus is a peaceful, nocturnal fish that enjoys hiding among plants, rocks, and driftwood during the day. It is best kept with similarly peaceful species and requires a tank with plenty of hiding spots and stable water conditions. Due to its unique care requirements and size, it is recommended for intermediate to experienced fish keepers.

Delivery
We offer free delivery from Smiths Falls to Ottawa most weeks. If you place an order for local delivery we usually delvier on weekends, or when we are in the area. So please make sure to leave the best form of contact to reach you. If you are within close areas outside of out free delivery radius we can deliver for a fee such as: Kingston, Arnprior, Gatineau, Kemptville, etc.
