The Pink Butterfly Halfmoon Betta is one of the most breathtaking fish in the freshwater hobby. With a soft pink body, flowing fins that fan out to a perfect 180-degree halfmoon spread, and the distinctive butterfly pattern where the body colour transitions dramatically into the fins, every individual is a unique showpiece. Grade A specimens represent the very best of the form — exceptional fin spread, vivid colouration, and no structural flaws.

These are male fish and must be kept one per tank.

Tank Setup

A planted tank with soft lighting, leaf hammocks or resting spots near the surface, and plenty of hiding places will bring out the best in your Betta. Avoid sharp decorations that can snag and tear the fins. A tight-fitting lid is essential — Bettas are accomplished jumpers.

Feeding

Bettas are carnivores and thrive on a varied diet. A high-quality Betta pellet as a staple, supplemented with frozen or live foods such as bloodworm, daphnia, and brine shrimp, will keep them healthy and enhance their colouration.

• Small, peaceful bottom dwellers such as corydoras and kuhli loaches
• Snails and larger shrimp (use caution with small shrimp)
• Avoid fin-nipping species such as tiger barbs
