Platinum Torpedo Barb Grade A - Platinum Roseline Shark

The Platinum Torpedo Barb is a rare and highly sought-after color variant of the Roseline Shark, prized for its sleek torpedo-shaped body and luminous platinum-white coloration. Unlike the standard form, this variety displays a pale metallic body with subtle iridescence, giving it a striking, almost glowing presence in larger aquariums. As a fast, active schooling species, it brings constant movement and energy to the midwater level.

This is a moderate care species best suited to aquarists with some experience and appropriately sized tanks. Platinum Torpedo Barbs are active swimmers that require open space and strong filtration. They are schooling fish and should be kept in groups of at least 5–6 to reduce stress and encourage natural behavior.

Platinum Torpedo Barbs do well in larger community aquariums with similarly sized, peaceful fish such as rainbowfish, larger tetras, peaceful barbs, and bottom dwellers like larger corydoras or loaches. Avoid slow-moving or long-finned fish, as their speed and activity level can be stressful for calmer species.

Due to their size, activity level, and schooling needs, they are not suitable for small aquariums.
