The males display their brightest colors during mating displays, adding an eye-catching pop of color to the tank. Honey Gouramis are best kept in groups, where they will show off their social and non-aggressive nature. They prefer well-planted tanks with soft, slightly acidic water and are best kept with other peaceful species.
