This gold morph features a vibrant golden body contrasted by a bold red lateral stripe and accents of black and yellow in the fins. Selectively bred for their unique color, these fish make a dazzling centerpiece in any large community aquarium.

Active and social, Red Striped Torpedo Gold Barbs thrive in groups of 5 or more and appreciate open swimming space paired with planted areas for resting. While peaceful, they can become skittish if kept alone or in too small a group. They do best with similarly sized, peaceful tankmates and are excellent additions to well-maintained community tanks.
