The Tropica Plant Growth System Nano is a sleek and precise CO₂ solution designed specifically for small aquariums. By delivering controlled amounts of carbon dioxide directly into the water, this system supports healthier plant growth, improved vitality, and enhanced colour development—especially in more demanding planted setups.

This complete kit includes a disposable, recyclable aluminium cartridge containing 95 g of pressurized CO₂, along with a reliable regulator for stable and accurate dosing. The included 3-in-1 diffuser ensures maximum CO₂ efficiency by producing a fine stream of micro bubbles, allowing for optimal absorption by aquatic plants.

Designed with ease of use in mind, the system is straightforward to install and adjust. The built-in bubble counter allows you to monitor and fine-tune your CO₂ output, helping you achieve the right balance for your aquarium’s specific needs.

In a typical aquarium, natural CO₂ levels are very low (around 0–0.5 mg/L), and even a small increase can significantly improve plant health. As a general guideline, slower-growing plants benefit from around 3 mg/L of CO₂, while medium and more advanced plants may require approximately 10–25 mg/L for optimal growth.

Each 95 g cartridge contains approximately 50,000 ml of CO₂. For larger aquariums or heavily planted tanks, cartridge lifespan may be shorter, and a larger CO₂ system may be more suitable.

For best results, allow the diffuser to soak in the aquarium for 24 hours before use to ensure proper bubble formation, then gradually adjust the CO₂ output by monitoring bubbles per minute.
