Tropica Nutrition Capsules

Tropica Nutrition Capsules are a convenient root-feeding supplement designed to provide essential nutrients directly to aquarium plants through the substrate. Ideal for planted aquariums with nutrient-demanding species, these capsules deliver a steady supply of nutrition right where plants need it most—at the roots.

Each capsule contains a balanced blend of nitrogen, phosphorus, iron, manganese, and vital micronutrients. These nutrients are slowly released over a period of 1–2 months, supporting consistent, healthy growth and helping plants develop strong root systems and vibrant foliage.

Nutrition Capsules are especially beneficial for heavy root feeders such as stem plants, Cryptocoryne, Echinodorus, and Vallisneria. Simply use tweezers to insert the capsules into the substrate near the base of the plant for targeted feeding.

After the nutrients have been released, the outer capsule will not fully decompose. Small resin-based beads may remain in the substrate, but they are completely biologically harmless and safe for aquarium use.
