Tropica Substrate

Tropica Substrate is a nutrient-rich base layer designed to support strong, long-term plant growth in newly established aquariums. It is used underneath aquarium gravel or decorative substrate to provide essential nutrients directly to plant roots, especially during the critical early stages of aquarium setup.

This substrate absorbs nutrients and gradually makes them available to plants, encouraging healthy root development and sustained growth over time. It is chemically neutral and does not affect KH or pH, making it suitable for a wide range of freshwater aquarium setups.

Ideal for use during initial aquarium setup, it helps plants establish quickly and grow more robustly from the start.

How to Use

Apply Tropica Substrate as a 1 cm base layer across the bottom of the aquarium during setup, then cover with gravel, sand, or aquascaping substrate of choice. Best results are achieved when used before filling the tank and planting.
